"Do not Crush" - Framed Embroidery
"Do Not Crush" is a piece about boundaries. It reflects the moments when we realise what can hurt us and when we need to protect the parts of ourselves that feel exposed. The two hands carefully holding a heart speak to the idea that vulnerability is not a flaw but an awareness of our limits. Knowing when to pause, when to step back, and when something is pushing too far is a form of strength.
This design is meant as a quiet reminder to look after yourself, to hold what feels fragile with care, and to honour your own boundaries.
The artwork is stitched in red with purple and white accents on pure white felt, then mounted onto a purple or red felt backing to match the frame. A charming and original design with a soft, tactile finish.
This work comes pre-framed and ready to hang. Whether you're searching for a distinctive addition to your decor or a statement piece, our goal is to offer something individual, unique and special that will be treasured for years to come.
As always, this is proudly crafted on a vintage freehand machine, no computers, no shortcuts, ensuring each piece’s distinctiveness.
Product details
This piece is framed in an ash-wood frame, handmade locally by an artisan in a neighbouring studio. It's available in two colorways, Purple and Red. Each frame is hand painted by us in a deep purple or red tone to match the felt backing.
The artwork is glazed with low reflective art glass for clearer viewing and reduced glare. Frames come with pre-drilled hooks and are designed to be hung on the wall.
Frame dimensions: 18 cm high, 18 cm wide, 1.8cm deep.
Estimated production time
Each piece is made to order using vintage chainstitch machines. This particular design is part of our more complex collection and is produced in small batches during set production weeks, typically the first week of each month. If you need it sooner, just let us know in the order notes and we’ll do our best to accommodate. More details can be found below in the FAQ section.

Every piece is designed and fully handcrafted by Giulio using the same tools and techniques you’d find in a 1950s or ’60s workshop.
There are no digital processes or modern shortcuts, just time, care, and a deep respect for craft. We make what we love, and only what we’d wear ourselves.
All of our products are made to order. Processing times depend on the complexity of the piece:
- Standard pieces (patches, smaller framed works): usually made within 10 working days from the date of purchase.
- Complex or large-scale pieces (multi-element artworks, embroidered garments): made during scheduled production weeks. These are typically produced in the first week of each month, but scheduling may vary.
This classification is listed on each product. If you need a product sooner, please contact us — we’ll do our best to fit it into our diary where possible.

- Shipments are insured to cover loss in transit, in line with the courier’s policy.
- Compensation for lost parcels is limited to the level of cover provided by the courier.
- We cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays, customs processing times, or charges applied by local authorities.
All our pieces are handcrafted and chain-stitched in the studio. Because of the time and care invested, custom or personalised items, like those featuring names, word choices, custom modifications or bespoke colourways, cannot be returned or cancelled once production begins.
For ready-made, non-personalised designs (patches, framed pieces without customisation options), we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and packaged as received.
