Peace is a word carried through centuries, painted on banners, spoken in protest, invoked by leaders and religious figures. At its best, it has held empathy, compassion, coexistence. A vision of what it means to live with integrity.
But over time, peace has been stretched and reshaped. Worn thin by overuse. Repeated until it feels hollow. Twisted to fit too many agendas, absorbed into systems that mask destruction as virtue.
This design isn’t a slogan or a statement. It’s a quiet reminder that we know - we still know - what goodness is. A simple gesture, a way of holding space for better things.
This piece comes pre-framed and it's ready for hanging on a wall. As always, this is proudly crafted on a vintage freehand machine, ensuring each piece's distinctiveness, without the use of a computer.
Product details
This piece is framed in an ash-wood frame, handmade locally by an artisan in a neighbouring studio. Artwork is navy/dark blue felt, white dove, bright red and blue writing and purple border mounted over pale blue felt. Each frame is then hand painted by us in a pale blue tone to match the felt backing.
The artwork is glazed with low reflective art glass for clearer viewing and reduced glare. Frames come with pre-drilled hooks and are designed to be hung on the wall.

Estimated production time
Each piece is made to order using vintage chainstitch machines. This particular design is part of our more complex collection and is produced in small batches during set production weeks, typically the first week of each month. Every piece is designed and fully handcrafted by Giulio using the same tools and techniques you’d find in a 1950s or ’60s workshop.
There are no digital processes or modern shortcuts, just time, care, and a deep respect for craft. We make what we love, and only what we’d wear ourselves.
All of our products are made to order. Processing times depend on the complexity of the piece:
- Standard pieces (patches, smaller framed works): usually made within 10 working days from the date of purchase.
- Complex or large-scale pieces (multi-element artworks, embroidered garments): made during scheduled production weeks. These are typically produced in the first week of each month, but scheduling may vary.
This classification is listed on each product. If you need a product sooner, please contact us — we’ll do our best to fit it into our diary where possible.

- Shipments are insured to cover loss in transit, in line with the courier’s policy.
- Compensation for lost parcels is limited to the level of cover provided by the courier.
- We cannot accept responsibility for delivery delays, customs processing times, or charges applied by local authorities.
All our pieces are handcrafted and chain-stitched in the studio. Because of the time and care invested, custom or personalised items, like those featuring names, word choices, custom modifications or bespoke colourways, cannot be returned or cancelled once production begins.
For ready-made, non-personalised designs (patches, framed pieces without customisation options), we accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and packaged as received.
